Ravi Mahbubani

Director

Ravi did his schooling from Shivaji Military School, Pune.  After passing out from Ferguson College in 1977 with a B.Sc. degree in Physics, Ravi joined his family business and is a Director with Devi Construction Co. Pvt. Ltd.

He was President of Rotary Club of Khadki, Pune, during the year 1990-91.

Apart from golf and painting – his favourite hobby is Gliding.  Contrary to what people say about gliding being dangerous, he says it is actually one of the safest ways to fly.

He has achieved several milestones in Gliding and had done some record flying in Pune and abroad.  He has done multiple 5 hour flights, and has also achieved a personal best of 7 hours and 55 minutes, just short of the Indian gliding record set by PK Banerjee in 1959.

He regularly visits Germany, Austria, New Zealand, Czech Republic, Slovakia to pursue gliding.
